The future of humanity and indeed all life on earth depends on us.

The natural world in under threat. It is really important that we all play our part to make a positive impact to the environment and the future of our children. With climate change on the rise, we can still make a difference. I will continue to support Nottingham's City's goal to be carbon neutral by 2028. However, we still need to do more to protect our species, nature and eco-systems.

As a registered member of Nottinghamshire's Wildlife Trust, I will be running a campaign encouraging people from Nottingham East to find a small patch in their garden (or some planting pots if you don't have any garden space), to then plant some seeds for flowers to grow. Finding a small space in your garden and planting your own seeds to grow your own eco-system will definitely contribute to change to make our city even cleaner. 

It's important we empower people to understand the impact and difference they can make to nature. I will continue to volunteer my time with Nottingham's Wildlife Trust and work with them to make a positive difference in our community. 

My company also donates a brass memorial leaf, which is placed at one of the nature reserves in Nottingham, when one of our patients pass away. I believe it is a wonderful way to remember a loved one and is also a tranquil place for their families to go and remember them. Let's all try and work in harmony together to make a difference in each others lives.
